Thank you for sharing this interview! I grew up in the neighboring stake and listening to Tommy reminded me of all the humble and faithful members of the church in this area that I was so fortunate to grow up around. When my parents moved to NW Florida the closest temple was Mesa, AZ and I remember my mom telling me how excited everyone was when they built the Washington DC temple because they could drive there in a day (a LONG day of driving). We are all asked to make different sacrifices but I believe that our sacrifices help to purify us and serve as a testimony to those around us. Thanks again for this inspiring interview.
