The meeting has past the three hour mark and the bishop and two counselors flip through the ward list for the tenth time hoping a name will jump off the page for a new assistant to the assistant primary teacher. Hopefully they will find that name soon because they have a list of three other callings that need to be filled.
If the bishopric doesn’t decide on people for callings than who will?

Home teaching — the holy grail of church programs. If the secret code could be broke, think of the problems it would fix. Because it is a great challenge for so many leaders, any time we can take another swing at solving it I think it is worth our time. Even though we are speaking in the context of home teaching everything in the following posts can be applied to visiting teaching as well.
6source If you walk in to a high school weight room you will find a room of kids determined to get “big guns” (biceps). They will focus hours doing various form of curls in order to build their biceps the size of watermelons. What they don’t realize is change in muscle mass happens when you work the entire body.
This is logical to many, but when dealing with addiction we have the same misconception as the high school kid. You work one muscle — personal willpower– and hope the addiction will crumble. If you want to see real change you have to work every angle.
