What is Giving Tuesday?
Giving Tuesday is a global giving movement. Millions of people come together on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (American) to support and champion causes they believe in. This year, Giving Tuesday lands on Tuesday, November 28, 2017.
On Giving Tuesday we have a day for giving back. We have two days for getting deals: Black Friday and Cyber Monday.Together, millions of people kick-start the holiday season by demonstrating our common capacity to give and reminding us the “reason for the season.”
What is the Leading Saints #GivingTuesday Webithon?
During #GivingTuesday Leading Saints will be hosting a 24 hours webithon where we visit (virtually) every timezone in the world and interview lay leaders about their culture, how they lead, and what it is like being a member in their country. We will start in Tonga (right next to the international dateline) on Monday, November 27 at 5pm (MST). All interviews will be available to watch live at leadingsaints.org or on the Leading Saints Facebook page. Be sure to subscribe to the newsletter to stay up to date with new guests that will join us during #GivingTuesday. See the scheduled interviewees below.
We’ve set a goal to raise $20,000 through 5,000 Core Leaders
Our campaign starts now and ends at the end of the year (December 31st). The funds go towards resources to help lay leaders take their ability to the level of their authority.

Here’s how you can help…
Option 1: Become a Core Leader
Help us maintain consistent funding by becoming an automatic monthly or yearly donor (that’s who we call the Core Leaders). We have set a #GivingTuesday goal to reach 5,000 Core Leaders. If you prefer doing a one-time donation consider Option 2.
